Objective of Mother Teresa Scholarship 2025

The main objective of the Mother Teresa scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the minorities of the state. The Kerala government launched this Scheme to reduce the dropout rate among minorities. Mother Teresa Scholarship will encourage financially backward students to focus on their studies without worrying about financial problems. Students who want to pursue a Pharma medical or nursing diploma can apply for the Mother Teresa scholarship. All the students belonging to minorities like Muslims, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, and Christians can apply for this scheme. The Mother Teresa scholarship scheme will provide INR 15000 per year to the selected candidates.

Eligibility Criteria 

• An applicant must be a permanent resident of Kerala
• An applicant must belong to a minority community such as Muslim, Sikh, Budha, Parsis, Jain and Christian
• The annual family income of the candidates should not exceed more than 8 lakhs per annum
• He or she must be an applicant for Nursing/ Paramedical Diploma courses.
