About Maharashtra CM Fellowship
The Maharashtra CM Fellowship was launched by the Maharashtra state development to foster an interest among the minds of the young students of the state regarding how the government works on a daily basis. With the help of this fellowship, the young students of the state can work alongside various government professionals in various departments to gain experience and discover the workings of the government. According to the information, their duration of this fellowship is 12 months. All the students who want to apply for the scholarship have to pay an application fee of INR 500.

Eligibility Criteria
- The selected young citizens must be between the age group of 21 to 26 years as on the date of application submission. That is a person having a birthdate between 05.05.1999 to 05.05.2004 (inclusive of both dates).
- The young citizens must graduate from any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks however, preference will be given to candidates with higher education qualifications.
- The candidate should possess at least 1 year of full time work experience. Full time internship / apprenticeship / articleship as part of a professional course will be considered as experience. Full time self-employment or entrepreneurship will also be considered as experience.
- The candidate should be able to write, read, and speak Marathi. Sufficient knowledge of Hindi and English is required.
- The young citizens must also have knowledge of the internet and must be able to write on a computer.

Financial Benefits
- The selected fellows will be paid a stipend of INR 56,100 and travel and related expenses of INR 5,400, making a total of INR 61,500 per month.

Selection Process
- The selection process is divided into two stages: Stage 1 includes an online test, and Stage 2 involves essay submission and an interview for shortlisted candidates.
- Stage 1 features a 100-mark online objective test with multiple-choice questions; the duration is 60 minutes, and the medium of the test is English, with Marathi translations provided where feasible.
- The online test is composed of six sections: General Knowledge (30 Qs), Reasoning (30 Qs), English Language (10 Qs), Marathi Language (10 Qs), Information Technology (10 Qs), and Quantitative Aptitude (10 Qs), covering topics such as current affairs, grammar, reasoning, basic math, and computer literacy.
- Based on test performance, the top 210 candidates will be shortlisted for Stage 2 and invited to submit an essay on given topics in Marathi, Hindi, or English.
- Essay topics will be communicated directly to shortlisted candidates, and only those who submit the essay will be eligible to appear for the final interview.
- Candidates who fail to submit the essay will be disqualified from the interview stage, regardless of their test score.
- The final interview will be conducted only for those who submitted essays; the date and time of the interview will be shared via email with eligible candidates.
- The final selection will be based on a combined evaluation: 30 marks from the online test (converted from 100), 20 marks for the essay, and 50 marks for the interview, totaling 100 marks.
- A final list of 60 selected candidates will be published based on this comprehensive marking system.
- Selected candidates must bring original and photocopies of all academic documents, experience letters, and ID proof during the interview; travel or other expenses will not be reimbursed.
