The following benefits will be available to all of the candidates who are applying for this scheme:-

• The top 1,000 meritorious students of the OBC category will receive INR 10,000 per annum for two years.

Terms and Conditions

The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions to be eligible for the scholarship scheme:-

• The scholarship is tenable for only two years, the renewal is subject to satisfactory performance in the first year of study or the Class 11 internal examination.
• The student has to take admitted within the state or outside the state, after completing Class 10.

Eligibility Criteria 

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scheme:-

• The applicant must be a citizen of Himachal Pradesh
• The applicant must belong to OBC
• The applicant must have passed class 10
• The applicant must have taken admission in Class 11 or any professional/technical courses after class 10 at a recognized institution within or outside the state

Documents Required 

The following documents are required to be eligible for the Ambedkar Medhavi Chatravriti Yojana:-

• Passport Size Photo.
• AADHAAR Card(UID / EID No).
• Himachali Bonafide Certificate.
• Previous Year(s) Result Card(s) from Matric onwards.
• Latest Bank Statement of the Students Bank Account.
• OBC Category Certificate

Dr Ambedkar Medhavi Chatravriti Yojana for OBC Students Application Procedure

To apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-

• The candidates will first have to visit the Dr Ambedkar Medhavi website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here

• The home page will open on your screen.
• Click on the option called New Registration

• The instructions will open on your screen.
• Tick mark the declaration.
• Click on the “Continue” option.
• Enter all of the details.
• Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details etc.
• Enter the captcha code 
• Click the “Register” option.
• Now you have to log in using your credentials.
• Click on the option called Application Form

• The application form will be displayed on the screen
• Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID etc.
• Click on “Save & Continue”
• Upload the documents.
• Click on “Final Submission’’
• The application form will be successfully submitted.

Check Application Status

• The home page will open on your screen.
• Click on the option called Login.

• A new page will open on your screen.
• You need to select your year from the drop-down menu.
