Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must have a PhD, and those who are almost done with their studies will be taken into consideration as long as they complete their PhD (including the viva) before the Fellowship begins.
- Until the PhD degree is confirmed, no fellowship grant may be validated.
- At the time of application, candidates should have no more than seven years of active, full-time postdoctoral experience (excluding career breaks) that includes teaching and/or industrial employment.
- The candidate must have a job outside of the United Kingdom.
- The candidate shouldn’t be an American citizen.
- The candidate should be proficient in both writing and speaking English.
Financial Benefits
- The International Fellowships program offers two years of funding at 80% FEC.
- Applicants can spend up to £12,000 on research and up to £8,000 on moving expenses.
- The amount of relocation and research expenses requested in the application must be supported by documentation.
