Eligibility Criteria

  • The program has to begin in the fall of 2025, and applicants must have an offer to study at the University of Sheffield. 
  • Merit scholarships are not available for distance learning courses.
  • A full-time course at the University of Sheffield must be offered to applicants. 
  • Merit scholarships are available to students enrolled in Master’s or integrated PhD programs exclusively during the Master’s portion of the program. 
  • Scholarship applications are not accepted for master’s programs that are divided between the University of Sheffield and a partner school. 
  • Merit scholarships are not available for any Crossways or Erasmus Mundus courses. 
  • Applicants must pay the international tuition charge and be self-funded for tuition fee reasons. 
  • Sponsorship is not permitted for applicants. 
  • All March programs are eligible for scholarships but are not eligible for undergraduate scholarships as they are regarded as postgraduate taught programs.
  • Any postgraduate courses that require a higher clinical charge are not eligible for these grants.
