About AICTE Saraswati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students  

The AICTE Saraswati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students was created by the All India Council for Technical Education for female students. Under this scholarship, INR 25,000 will be provided to the student every year for a maximum of 3 years of studies. This scholarship will cover the payment of college fees, the purchase of computer stationery books, equipment software, etc. Along with that additional benefits will be provided to the student instead of hostel charges and medical chargesThe financial assistance under this scheme will directly be transferred into the bank account of the beneficiaries.

Eligibility Criteria

• An applicant must be a permanent resident of India 
• The candidate must be a female student 
• The candidate must have taken admission in the first year of degree level course 
• The annual family income should not exceed INR 8 lakhs per annum
• The candidate must have a valid income certificate that will be issued by the state or UT government. 

Financial Benefits

• The selected students will be rewarded with INR 25,000 per annum for every year of study which is a maximum for 3 years. 
• This amount will cover educational expenses such as tuition fees, the purchase of computers, stationeries, books, equipment, software,e etc.

Number of Scholarships

• A total number of 31110 scholarships will be provided to the student per annum under this scholarship to pursue BBA BCA BMS courses in the AICTE-approved institution.

Selection Process

• The selection of the candidate depends upon the merit basis. 
• The students who have qualified for the technical degree course examination from any of the AICTE-approved institutions are eligible to apply 
• The institution will select the candidate based on a percentage of marks obtained in the 12th examination 
• After that, the merit list will be prepared as per the number of scholarships that will be allotted in the point number.
