Online application forms are invited by the National Institute of Science Education and Research from the students who recently passed the 12th standard examination. NEST Exam Pattern
An examination is to be held online mode. The exam contains questions MCQ based. The examination will be held in about 115 cities including Jammu, Srinagar, Kanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, Jaipur, Jabalpur, Chandigarh, Delhi, Pune, Rajkot, Agartala, Patna, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Aligarh, etc.

NEST Exam Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant should be born on or after 1st August 2002
- The upper age is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates who belong to a scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, or divyangjan category
- Applicants must have passed the 12th standard examination are there in 2020 or in 2021.
- Applicants who are going to appear in 2022 for the 12th standard examination can also apply
- Applicant must have secured at least 60% marks in the 12th standard board examination (55% for SC/ ST/ divyang category)

Application Fee
- Candidates who belong to the general and OBC categories have to pay rupees 1200
- Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD/ female candidates of general and OBC categories have to pay 600 rupees.
- Application Fee is paid through online mode by using net banking, credit card, debit card, etc.

National Entrance Screening Test 2022 Application Procedure
- To apply for the national entrance screening test, students have to visit the NEST website of NEST 2022
- From the open page, you have to choose how to apply the option
- A new page will open from where you have to select the online application
- As you hit a new page along with the application open on the screen
- Fill in the details in the application form including
- Name
- Date of birth
- 10th standard roll number or registration number
- Gender
- Mobile number
- Email ID
- Enter the security code shows on the screen and hit the register button
- Complete the registration process and further applications will open on the screen
- Fill in the details in the application form, upload the significant documents, and review the application
- If you find no changes required, hit submit button and make payment of the application fee
- Take a printout of the field application and fee receipt for further use
