The main objective of the MYSY scholarship launched by the Gujarat government is to make education less expensive for the students of the state. With the help of this scheme, the students of Gujarat state can continue their education without worrying about their financial problems. The amount to be given under the scholarship depends upon the course chosen by the students. Each year the Government of the Gujarat state declared INR 1000 crore under this scheme. Eligibility Requirements
- To be eligible for a scholarship in Diploma admissions, the student must have cleared the class 10th examination from a known board in Gujarat state with 80 percentile
- To avail of the benefits of the bachelor’s degree programme, the student must clear their class 12 examination in any known board in the Gujarat state with an 80 percentile
- Diploma to Degree students must have achieved a minimum of 65% marks in their Diploma level examination from a recognized university in Gujarat to be eligible for the scheme.
- Candidate must have a valid income certificate
- The candidate’s family income should not exceed INR 6 lacs annually
