Eligibility Criteria
- The student must reside in Maharashtra permanently.
- The student’s parent needs to work in construction.
- The construction worker must be between the ages of 18 and 60.
- The candidate must be enrolled in a course at a government- or Maharashtra state-approved school, college, or university (Class 1–7, Class 8–10, Class 11–12, Degree course, Degree in medical, or Degree in engineering, respectively).
- In courses 8 through 10, students must attend at least 75% of the time.
- Students must receive at least 50% or higher in courses 10 through 12.
- Employees who have spent more than ninety days working in construction throughout the previous 12 months.

Application Process
- On your laptop or smartphone, navigate to the Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board’s website.
- Find the “construction worker apply online for the claim” option on the page that displays, then click or touch it.
- Click the box that appears when you click the button above. After that, you’ll have two options here: Update Claim and New Claim. Select the option for “New Claim.”
- Next, input the registration number (before being assigned a registration number, construction workers must register online).
- Upload every document, including the ration card, Aadhaar card, self-declaration, 75% school attendance certificate, and bona fide certificate.
- Click the papers’ Verified button and then the Submit button once the papers have been uploaded.
- You will receive an acknowledgment number as soon as you click the submit button; save it for your records.
