Eligibility Criteria
- Developing-nation applicants are preferred.
- The only applicants who may apply are those who have registered for less than a semester towards a Master’s degree and have a valid admission offer letter from at least one Malaysian university but have not yet begun their course.
- Candidate should Possess a minimum score of 6.0 on the IELTS, 500 on the TOEFL paper exam, or 60 on the TOEFL online test as evidence of English language competence.
- Candidate should Possess an official admission letter and be enrolled full-time in postgraduate studies at the approved higher education institutions.
- Should maintain a 45-year-old age limit.
- The minimum requirements for admission to the Master’s program are an undergraduate degree with a CGPA of 3.5 or a second class upper (honors).

Benefits of MTCP Scholarship
- Tuition fees for the whole sponsorship period will be paid directly to the university upon issuance of the invoice by the university;
- b) a Monthly allowance of RM3,500.00 per month will be paid directly to the recipient’s Malaysian bank account; and
- c) a One-off return economy class airline ticket from the student’s closest international airport to Malaysia and back to the student’s home country
