The IIO is one of the several International Science Olympiads held annually around the world. To identify school students with outstanding skills in algorithms and computer programming. High school students from various countries compete in this prestigious competition to sharpen their informatics skills- such as problem analysis, design of algorithms, data structures, programming, and testing. A team of four students was selected to represent India at the International Informatics Olympiad (IIO). International Informatics Olympiad 2024
The 34th International Informatics Olympiad (IOI 2024) will be hosted by Indonesia from August 7th to 14th 2022. This is the most prestigious computer science competition which is held for secondary school and high school students around the World. The competition is one of five international science Olympiads held annually. The IIO will be co-hosted by the special region of Yogyakarta and the Province of Central Java. The competition is supported by the Department of Education and Culture, the Republic of Indonesia, the Department of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Republic of Indonesia, the State Government of the Special Region as Yogyakarta, and the State Government of Central Java. The IIO is also powered by the Indonesian Computer Olympiad Team Alumni Association.

International Olympiad in Informatics Exam Pattern
The questions in the Silverline International Informatics Olympiad 2024 are objective-based, multiple-choice questions. The students in the third grade or above will be given an OMR sheet on which they need to choose the correct option out of the four given options.
IIO Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility criteria for International Olympiad in Informatics 2024 are the basic requirements needed to be met by candidates preparing for the exam. The IOI 2024 eligibility criteria are as follows :
- The candidate must be enrolled in a school affiliated with recognised boards(CBSE, ICSE, Or any other Board).
- The school must be registered with the Silverzone foundation.
- To appear in further levels, candidates need to qualify the previous levels.

Application Procedure for International Olympiad in Informatics 2024
The students should be enrolled in a school to fill out IIO 2024 application forms. Individual candidates cannot apply for the International Informatics Olympiad. Minimum 25 students from each class must be willing to appear for the International Informatics Olympiad 2024. The students are to fill out the application form given by the school and submit the form to the Vice Principal/Principal of the School along with a fee of Rs. 120.
