SC scholarship was launched by the national scholarship portal. To help students who have completed their class 12th examination and want to study further, the Government of India has launched a bunch of SC scholarships for them. The applicant can choose any SC scholarship of his or her choice. The student who clears the eligibility criteria can easily apply under the scheme. The government has launched SC Scholarship 2024 for nationwide anyone in India can apply for this scholarship. Selection Procedure
The applicant must follow the following selection procedure to be selected by the concerned authorities for these types of scholarships:-

Top Class Education Scheme for SC Students | All the IIMs, IITs, IIITs, AIIMS, NITs, NIFTs, NIDs, Indian Institute of Hotel Management, National Law Universities and other Central Government institutions, ORInstitutes are included in the list of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) A++ and A+ Accredited Institutions, ORTop 100 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Institution, OrInstitutions of National Importance as per the list issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). All Government and CPSE-run institutes, approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation in the case of Commercial Pilot Training Courses and Type Rating Courses. |
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to successfully apply for this scholarship:-

Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students | Students should belong to the SC category. Parents’ annual income should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh per annum. The students should not get any other funds from the central government. The applicant should be a regular student in a Government school or school recognized by the Government or Central/State Board of Secondary Education. |
Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students | The SC students enrolled in post-matriculation or post-secondary courses in recognized institutes/universities/colleges can apply for this scholarship. The annual family income of the student’s parents/guardians should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh per annum |
Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (National Fellowship for SC Students) | A student belonging to the SC category only can apply. They must be admitted to MPhil/Ph.D. degree in a university or academic institution. |
National Overseas Scholarship for SC Students | Applicants belonging to the SC category can apply. They must be below the age of 35 years. The applicants must have secured more than 60% marks in their last qualifying examination. The annual family income should not exceed INR 8 Lakh per annum. |
Top Class Education Scheme for SC Students | The scheme is open for SC category students who have completed Class 12. They must have taken admission in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course in a notified institution through general selection criteria prescribed by respective institutions. They must belong to a family where the annual income is not more than INR 6 lakh from all the sources |

SC Scholarship 2024 Application Procedure
To apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- The candidates will first have to visit the SC website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here
- The home page will open on your screen.
- Click on the option called New Registration
- The instructions will open on your screen.
- Tick mark the declaration.
- Click on the “Continue” option.
- Enter all of the details.
- Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details etc.
- Enter the captcha code
- Click the “Register” option.
- Now you have to log in using your credentials.
- Click on the option called Application Form
- The application form will be displayed on the screen
- Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID etc.
- Click on “Save & Continue”
- Upload the documents.
- Click on “Final Submission’’
- The application form will be successfully submitted.
Check Application Status
