What is a Special Scholarship Scheme?
A Special Scholarship Scheme was created by the All India Council for Technical Education for the students of Jammu and Kashmir. This scholarship will provide financial help of up to rupees INR 3 lakhs per annum so that they can continue their education in general degrees, medical degrees, professional courses etc. The main objective of launching this scholarship is to help students in continuing their education without worrying about any financial problems. The student of Jammu and Kashmir who wants to avail the benefit of this scholarship scheme can apply from 18th June 2024. The last day to apply under this scholarship is 22nd July 2024 till 5:00 p.m.

Eligibility Criteria
- An applicant must be a permanent resident of UT of Jammu and Kashmir or Ladakh.
- The annual family income should not exceed more than INR 8 lakhs per annum from all sources.
- The applicant must have completed their class 12th examination form JKBOSE or CBSE affiliated college located in UT of Jammu and Kashmir Ladakh.
- The candidate must have passed the diploma from UT of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Polytechnic.
- An African must contain a category certificate as per the reservation policy of UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
