- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand
- The student must be studying in government recognized school
- Student must have cleared the recent class examination
- Applicant must not be enrolled in more than one educational institution
- The last name in the application form in the bank account number should be the same
- The annual family income of the applicant should be less than Rs 250000
- For those students who are studying from class 1st to 8th, there is no income bar for annual family income
