Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI) Scholarships 2024

The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI) launched various scholarships for Indian students. All the financially unstable Indian students who want to pursue their education at the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge are eligible to fill out the application form for the Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI) Scholarships 2024. Only the students who want to pursue undergraduate, second undergraduate, or graduate study and research in any subject available at the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, UK are eligible to avail the benefits of these scholarships. The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI) is a non-profit organization that is situated in New Delhi India. The scholarships offered by OCSI are Equal Opportunity, i.e. the decisions made in awarding these scholarships are not based on race, colour, religion, disability, age (except for maximum age criterion), sex or ancestry. The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India provides financial support and other benefits to all the students of India who want to pursue higher education at Cambridge or Oxford University of the United Kingdom. Many students in India every year avail the benefits of the scholarships launched by the OCSI and achieve their dreams of completing their education at the University of Oxford or Cambridge.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• The applicant must not be above the age of 30 years.
• The applicant must be a graduate of an Indian university if applying to a second undergraduate or for a postgraduate course, or be from a school in India if applying for an undergraduate course.
• The applicant must have applied for and secured admission to study a full-time course at the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford. Candidates are required to present proof of admission before the grant of the scholarship, and proof of having taken up residence at Cambridge or Oxford before the scholarship funds are released.
• The applicant must be admitted to the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford through the University’s normal academic procedures. OCSI cannot admit students or assist in this process.

Reward Details

• The selected applicants under the OCSI K.K. Luthra Memorial Scholarship will receive financial assistance of INR 3,00,000.
• The selected applicants under the OCSI Anita Banerji Memorial Scholarship will receive financial assistance of INR 4,00,000.
• The selected applicants under the OCSI Nirmal Luthra Memorial Scholarship will receive financial assistance of INR 4,00,000.

Important Dates

• The application form for the OC Si scholarship will be updated on the official website by March every year.
• The last date to fill out the application form for the OCSI scholarship is May 31, 2024.
• Candidates who are shortlisted for the interviews shall be informed by mid-June 2024.
• The selected applicants under the OCSI scholarship will be required order to attend an interview in mid-July 2024.
• Award offers will normally be made to selected candidates by July 31, 2024

List of Courses

• Research leading to the PhD degree.
• One-year post-graduate courses (e.g. MPhil, LLM, BCL, Diploma, CASM or Part III Maths, MBA, PGCE, etc.).
• Taught and research-based Masters’s programmes of various durations (including M.Sc., engineering, medicine).
• Second bachelor’s degree as an Affiliated Student/Senior Status.
• Bachelor’s degree programme.

Selection Process

• The applicants will be selected based on their clearance of eligibility criteria.
• Only the applicants who have already received the acceptance letter from the University of Oxford or Cambridge will be selected for the scholarship.
• The applicant must have presentation skills, clarity of thought and presentation, and confidence to be selected for the scholarship.
•  Only applicants who are below the age of 30 years will be selected for the OCSI scholarship.
