About Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana Scholarship

The Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana Scholarship was created by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment to provide scholarship opportunities to the children of small and marginal farmers. Under this scholarship, financial support will be provided to the student so that they can continue their professional and technical courses like engineering medical agriculture nursing diploma, and different trades and ITI. This scholarship will help in boosting the economic and social status of the farmers of the state. The scholarship will be provided to the student on a merit basis.

Objective of Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana Scholarship

The main objective of the Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana Scholarship is to provide scholarship opportunities to the children of farmers. Under this scholarship, financial help as per the duration of the course per year will be provided to the student so that they can continue their higher education without worrying about any financial problems. Eligibility Criteria

• An applicant must be children of eligible beneficiaries of the CM Kisan Scheme 
• The candidate must obtain admission on a merit base in a government institute or private Institute that has the AISHE Code.
• Applicants who are taking admission to government or private institutions on self-financing courses are eligible to apply. 
• The applicants who are taking benefit of any other scholarship or are not eligible to apply 
• The applicants who are eligible under the scheme cannot take the benefit of any other professional course benefit.
