The permanent residents of the Himachal Pradesh State will be provided with an Himachal Pradesh Centrally Sponsored Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students opportunity through which they will be able to successfully apply for the different types of benefits available to them after they have completed their class 12 board examination in the particular state. The applicant will have to apply for the scholarship opportunity before the last date of 30th November 2022 in order to be able to get the details related to the benefits and to be selected by the authorities of the Government of the Himachal Pradesh state. Benefits Of Himachal Pradesh Centrally Sponsored Post Matric Scholarship Scheme
The selected scholars will receive the following components for the complete duration of the course –
- 1) Compulsory non-refundable fees including tuition fees as fixed by the fee fixation/rationalization committee of the State Government.
- 2) Academic allowance –

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship:-
- The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC)
- The applicant must be studying at a post-matric or post-secondary level at any recognized institution
- The applicant must be a permanent resident/domicile of Himachal Pradesh
- The applicant must have an annual income of less than INR 2.5 lakh

Himachal Pradesh Centrally Sponsored Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students Application Procedure
To apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- The candidates will first have to visit the HP Centrally Sponsored website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here
- The home page will open on your screen.
- Click on the option called New Registration
- The instructions will open on your screen.
- Tick mark the declaration.
- Click on the “Continue” option.
- Enter all of the details.
- Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details etc.
- Enter the captcha code
- Click the “Register” option.
- Now you have to log in using your credentials.
- Click on the option called Application Form
- The application form will be displayed on the screen
- Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID etc.
- Click on “Save & Continue”
- Upload the documents.
- Click on “Final Submission’’
- The application form will be successfully submitted.
Check Application Status

- The home page will open on your screen.
- Click on the option called Login.
- A new page will open on your screen.
- You need to select your year from the drop-down menu.
- A new page will open on your screen.
- Enter your application ID and password.
- Click on the option called Submit.
- The application status will open on your screen.
Terms and Conditions
The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions in order to apply for the scholarship: successfully-
- The scholarship for studying in any class will be available for only one year. If a student has to repeat a class, no scholarship will be awarded for that class for the second (or subsequent) year.
- If a scholar is unable to appear in the annual examination owing to illness, the award may be renewed subject to the production of a medical certificate from the prescribed authority and acceptance of the same by the institution.
- The award will be payable based on satisfactory academic performance and attendance in every academic year. The attendance will be verified through the Aadhaar-based attendance System.
- The recipient is liable to refund the scholarship amount if the student discontinues the study for which the scholarship was originally awarded.
- The provisions of this scheme can be changed at any time at the discretion of the Government of India.
