e Medhabruti Scholarship Application Started

e Medhabruti Scholarship has started the online application for the scholarship scheme and now people can apply for the scholarship from 20th December in order to be a part of this prestigious opportunity through which the Monetary Fund will be provided to the people who are doing really well in their academic career. The people will be able to fill out the application form till 31st January 2023 and they will be able to get a lot of monetary expenses so that they can continue their higher education at a prestigious University available in India. Scholarship opportunities are available for all nonprofessional courses and professional courses.

Objective Of e Medhabruti Scholarship

As we all know there are many meritorious and brilliant students who due to their weak financial condition are not able to pursue higher education in the field of general technical and professional education. And their dreams of continuing higher education stayed incomplete. By keeping this in mind the Government of Odisha in collaboration with the higher education department has launched the e Medhabruti Scholarship scheme. Under this scheme, educational opportunities will be given to the brilliant students of the state so as to encourage them to further their studies. The main aim of this scholarship is to promote higher education so that students will be able to continue their education without thinking about any financial problems.

Types Of Scholarship

The following scholarships will be provided to the students under e Medhabruti Scholarship with the duration mentioned below

Duration of Scholarship

The candidates can check out the details related to the duration of this scholarship from the pointers given below:-

• A student will be eligible for this scholarship for the total duration of the course.
• A one-time scholarship for the entire duration of the course shall be provided in the first semester or first year.
• In case any student after availing of the one-time scholarship under 1 course joins another course then the student will be entitled to the differential amount only.
• The differential amount will also be released in the first year of the new course.

Courses Application under e Medhabruti

The following courses are applicable under the prestigious scholarship scheme created by the Government of Odisha state:-

• UG Merit
  • For pursuing + 3-degree courses such as BA, BSC BCom, and courses such as BBA BCA BGMS having a duration of three years
• PG Merit
  • PG courses in Arts Science Commerce or other postgraduate courses which are of nonprofessional nature and the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to search courses are degrees in Art Science and Commerce.
• Technical And Professional Merit
  • Undergraduate and postgraduate professional degree courses and integrated courses mentioned in the guidelines are eligible under this head. It will include B E, B tech MBBS, BDS, BHMS, B pharmacy, B.sc nursing, BSC agriculture, MBA, MCA, MTech, and integrated MSc which are duly recognized by the respective government regulatory body such as All India Council for Technical Education, Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India, Central Council of India Medicine, Central Council of Homeopathy, Indian Nursing Council, University Grants Commission, etc.

Students that are not Eligible under the Scholarship

The following students will not be eligible to apply for the scholarship opportunity:-

• Students showing their higher study through open university or distance learning 
• Students pursuing self-financing general UG PG courses.
• Students already have scholarships for pursuing higher study under any other schemes of the Central or State Government.
• Students pursuing diploma-level courses are not eligible.
• Students for showing MPhil aur Ph.D. and students from B.Ed or M.Ed or not eligible.
• Students admitted to colleges not approved by regulatory bodies.
• Students studying abroad.
• Students completing one technical or professional course pursuing another technical or professional course of the same level are not eligible.
• Students not validated by the concerned principal during 1st year of admission.

Rewards Under e Medhabruti Scholarship

Medhabruti Technical And Professional Merit Scholarship	10000 scholarships will be provided to the selected candidate’s Rs. 10,000 per annum will be given to the selected candidates as a scholarship amount This scholarship is awarded as per the duration of the course

Selection Criteria Of e Medhabruti Scholarship

The following selection criteria are required to avail the benefit under e Medhabruti Scholarship

• The selection of the student will depend on the fulfillment of eligibility requirements.
• It is also based on the student record that is certified or integrated online by the principal of the college or school
• This selection will be based on the marks scored by the student in the last qualifying exam
• If the marks of two candidates are the same then the selection will be made on the basis of the annual income of the candidate, while the preference will be given to the candidates with low family income
• After the selection of the student, the merit list will be displayed on the scholarship portal

Medhabruti Senior Merit Scholarship	An applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha state The candidate must be pursuing a regular degree course of 3 years The candidate must have passed CHSE from a recognized institution under CBSE ICSE equivalent board with a minimum of 60% of marks The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed more than Rs. 6 lahks from all the sources The student who is pursuing the higher education from distance or correspondence are not eligible to apply Student belonging to other states are not eligible to apply
Medhabruti PG Merit Scholarship	An applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha state The candidate must be pursuing a regular course from one of the many disciplines covered under the scheme The candidate must have passed a 3-year degree course from a recognized University Student pursuing a b.Ed m.Ed m Phil and Ph.D. are not eligible to apply The annual income of the applicant should not exceed more than Rs. 6 lakhs from all the sources The student who is pursuing higher education from distance or correspondence are not eligible to apply Students belonging to other states are not eligible to apply
