Objective of Dainik Bhaskar Fellowship
The primary objective of Dainik Bhaskar Fellowship is to provide a fully funded one year fellowship to the Aspiring journalists in India. This scholarship will give them the real experience about the journalism practically. You will get experience and learn on the job for a year at DB. You will work with DB journalists across many newsrooms to learn how to create and disseminate trustworthy, high-quality content for print and digital media. You will become proficient in data-driven journalism and multimedia storytelling to create content that is engaging and thought-provoking.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be 27 years of age or below at the start of the program.
- You should be eager for news, current affairs, and the most exciting events occurring globally.
- By using a platform, you have already demonstrated your interest in journalism. One way to do this would be to write for a student newspaper, vlog, blog, freelance for a content company, make material for social media, write for a website, etc.
- Encourage them to use their imagination to produce stories that will appeal to DB readers and attract new audiences.
- Remain adaptable and open-minded to quickly pick up new skills.
- Understand data tools, content analytics, and figures at a basic level.
- possess a graduate or advanced degree in language studies, journalism, communications, or media studies.
- fluent in Hindi, both in writing and speaking.
