In addition to the former Union HRD Minister Mrs. Smriti Irani, the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, Vice President, and Speaker, Mrs. Sumitra Mahajan, have all praised the Amar Ujala Foundation’s scholarship programs. Meritorious students enrolled in Class 9–12 in various state school boards who have an annual family income of less than 1.5 lakh rupees are eligible for Atul Maheshwari Chhatravritti (AMC). A one-time grant worth Rs. 30,000 for classes 9–10 and Rs. 50,000 for each of classes 11–12 is awarded to the chosen students.

• The annual family income of the applicant’s student must be less than 1.5 lakh rupees.
•  Students in grades nine through twelve are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
