About Ts epass Scholarship 2024

Telangana Epass scholarship has been developed by the government of Telangana because they wanted to provide a large number of incentives to the poor students who are studying in colleges and schools of Telangana state. The Telangana Epass scholarship is undertaken through the procedures which are laid down safely on the official portal of the Ts epass Scholarship. You can undertake any procedure related to the Epass scholarship through the official portal which has been designed by the concerned authorities of the Telangana government. The main benefit of the scholarship is the availability of financial funds to all the economically weaker sections of society so that they can get higher education.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Telangana scholarship scheme, the students must go through the following eligibility criteria as mentioned by the concerned authorities:-

• The applicant must belong among the following categories-
  • SC
  • ST
  • BC
  • EBC
  • Minority
  • Disabled
  • EBC category who are selected Under Corporate College Admissions Scheme.
• Income criteria for all of the categories are mentioned below:-
  • SC & ST category has an annual family income below Rs. 2 lacs.
  • BC & EBC and Minority category belonging to the rural area and having a family income below Rs. 150000.
  • Disabled category having parental income below Rs. 1 lac.
  • BC & EBC and Minority category belonging to the urban area and having a family income below Rs. 2 lacs.
• The student must also have an attendance of 75% at the end of each quarter.

Non-Eligible Students

There are some applicants who are stated as not eligible for the Telangana scholarship scheme. The list of the non-eligible students is given below:-

• The students who do not follow the above-mentioned criteria will not be eligible for the scheme.
• General category students will not be eligible for the scheme.
• All Students pursuing part-time courses, and online courses are not eligible.
• Students admitted under Sponsored seats, and Management Quota seats are also not eligible.
• Students drawing the stipend more than the scholarship amount in aggregate per annum.
• EBC students studying Intermediate or equivalent courses

Incentive Amount

There are separate incentive amounts available for all of the applicants for the Telangana Epass scholarship. The incentive amount for both boys and girls applicants is mentioned below:-

• Rs.100 per month for 10 months for male
• Rs.150 per month for 10 months for female

There are two main types of scholarship present in the Telangana Epass scholarship scheme. The two types of scholarship include post-matric scholarship and pre-matric scholarship. More information about the two types of scholarship is given below:-

Post-Matric Scholarship

The post-matric scholarship is divided into five groups namely:-

Group-I includes-

• C.S. etc., courses, all postgraduate, graduate-level diploma courses, all certificate level courses.

Group-III includes-

• Degree courses (not covered in groups I & II)
• NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) courses

Group-IV includes-

• Intermediate
• ITI/ ITCs
• Vocational courses (Intermediate level)

View Reasons for Rejection

The applicant’s application form will be disqualified if

• Not the bonafide student.
• Incorrect caste, Income Details.
• Nonsubmission of caste, Income certificates.
• Incorrect course & year of study.
• Nonsubmission of hard copy of the application.
• A student admitted under management quota & Spot quota.
• Nonsubmission of required certificates.
• Discontinued/ Detained students in case of renewals.
• Claiming scholarship for same-level courses.

• Click on your desired scholarship name.
• Click on the new Registration button
• The application form will be displayed on your screen
• Fill in all the necessary details.
