Objective Of Tata AIG Avanti Fellows Scholarship
The main objective of Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited and Avanti fellows behind this scheme is to encourage the girl students who are from weak financial backgrounds toward higher education.
Benefits Of Tata AIG Avanti Scholarship Program
Beneficiaries will get scholarship amounts ranging between Rs.80,000/- to Rs.1,60,000/- per academic year till the completion of their UG programs. The scholarship amount under this scheme covers the tuition fee, the hostel fee, the mess fee, a one-time laptop fee, and other associated expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant should be an Indian citizen residing in any of the following states
- Meghalaya,
- Manipur,
- Mizoram,
- Arunachal Pradesh,
- Nagaland,
- Sikkim,
- Assam
- Tripura
- The applicant should be a girl child
- Applicant must be studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidhyalya
- The applicant must be at least XII pass
- Applicant must qualify for IIT-JEE Mains/Advanced & NEET exam
- Applicant must desire to pursue BE, BTech, MBBS, and BDS degrees only
- The annual income of the applicant’s family should not be more than 8 lakh rupees
- Applicant must belong to SC / ST/ Gen-EWS category
