About Swami Dayanand Education Foundation

Swami Dayanand Education Foundation was created in order to provide proper important empowerment through education and this Foundation was created in 2015. This is created in order to support academically gifted students. The foundation works in lifting up underprivileged students who are otherwise not able to get proper opportunities and they are working tirelessly in order to get opportunities in India. There are more than 200 students who are benefited from the development of this Foundation every year and they are provided scholarships so that they can afford to study at reputed colleges. The scholarship is offered to students pursuing professional degrees in India including Engineering, MBBS, Pharmacy, IT, Architecture, and all undergraduate courses in Government or private Institutes, including IITs, NITs, and others.

Selection Procedure

The applicant must for the following selection procedure to get selected in this scholarship:-

• Fresh – As the number of scholarships for minorities available in a year is fixed and limited, it is necessary to lay down preference for selection
• The scholars will be selected on the basis of their merit and family background such as the percentage of marks obtained in the course and annual income of the family.
• The preference will be given to students with the lowest family income in ascending order.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following documents in order to apply for the scholarship:-

•  The scholarship is available for all professionals – engineering, medicine, architecture, etc, and other undergraduate courses. 
•  65% or above Marks in 12th / CGPA of at least 6.5.
•  Annual Family Income of less than 6LPA 
•  The dual scholarship allowed for students. (Those who are already availing of scholarship from any source can also apply for our scholarship)
•  Preference for students with working/salaried parents who can present salary certificate/income tax return proof

Documents Required

The following documents are required in order to successfully apply for the Swami Dayanand scholarship:-

• 10th and 12th   Marksheets/Certificates
• Academic Marksheets for all semesters/term-wise scores
• Bonafide Certificate from College
• Admission Letter/Rank Certificate
• Counseling letter for Seat Allotment
• Proof of Semester/Annual fees paid by the students
• Copy of Scholarship Letter/fee waiver/Education Loan, if you are availing any.
• Residence Proof or Ration Card or Parent’s ID Proof
• Copy of Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Voter ID
• Family Income Proof- Salary Certificate/Salary Slip (For 3 Months)/IT Return Form/Any other document justifying your family income
• Agricultural land documents/Pics of Shop
• Copy of Electricity Bill (3 months)
• Education Loan Proof, if any
• Rent Agreement, if any
• House Pictures (Inside/Outside) & Family Photograph
• Institute Bank details attested by the Institute

• First, go to the Swami Dayanand Website of the scholarship

• Now click on the scholarship option given at the menu bar.
• A drop-down menu will be displayed on your screen.
• Click on the option called India College Scholarship

• A new page will be displayed on your screen
• Read all of the instructions
• Click on Apply For Scholarship
• Now you have to download the application form
