The Sports Authority of India (SAI) is an autonomous organization that reports to the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India, with headquarters at Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003. The Khelo India initiative was created to revitalize India’s sports culture at the grassroots level by creating a robust foundation for all sports that perform in the country and establishing India as a great sporting nation. The High-Powered Committee would grant annual financial support of INR 5 lakh per year for 8 years to talented athletes selected in important sports disciplines at various levels. The Khelo India School Games, which are part of the Khelo India programme, are taking place in New Delhi from the 31st of January to the 8th of February 2018. Eligibility Criteria
The applicants who want to appear in SAI Internship must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Applicants from Indian residences are eligible for this internship.
- Graduate/undergraduate students from any government and recognized institutions and universities in India, from any field, would be eligible for the internship.
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 25 years old as of the day this EOI is publish.

Documents Required
- Sr. Secondary (12th) and matriculation (10th) mark sheets
- Graduation mark sheet for all three years and ultimate aggregate percentage/GPA (The conversion scale must be specified in the case of GPA.) (For post-graduate students)
- Candidates must additionally submit a 200-300 word essay/write-up/Statement of Purpose (SOP) on their knowledge of the Khelo India Scheme in addition to a basic CV.
- SAI will not offer any TA/DA.
