Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship 2024: Apply Online and Last Date

The Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship Programme 2024–25 is launched by the Indian dental association. Under this scheme, financially disadvantaged, deserving students from all over India can enroll in four-year government or government-aided Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programs. Fifty worthy first-year BDS students from government or government-aided colleges will be chosen and given scholarships as part of Haleon India’s CSR initiatives. Based on qualifying requirements, IDA and B4S will assess applications. If accepted, students will receive financial aid of rupees 4,20,000 (or rupees 1,05,000 annually) spread over four years to support living and educational costs.

Objective of Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship

The main objective of Sensodyne IDA shining star scholarship is a program launched by the makers of Sensodyne in collaboration with the Indian Dental Association. The program will provide financial assistance to underprivileged meritorious students all over India who want to pursue a four-year bachelor’s degree in dental surgery in government or government-aided colleges. Under this program, around 50 deserving candidates in the first year of BDS will be selected and awarded scholarships. The selected students will receive rupees 4,20,000 over a period of four years.

Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for applying under this scheme is given below:-

• Only students from government or government-aided colleges enrolled in their first year of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program are eligible.
• A minimum of 60% in Higher Secondary Education is required of applicants.
• The applicants’ combined annual family income should not exceed INR 8,00,000.
•  Students from all over India are welcome to apply.

Under this scheme, the financial benefit of rupees 4,20,000 is will be given to the students who are in the first year of BDS in government or government-aided colleges.

• Previous semesters or class mark sheet.
•  Identity documentation from the government (Aadhaar, voter ID, driver’s license, PAN card).
•  Proof of current year entrance (fee receipt, admission letter, ID card from the institution, or bona fide certificate).
• Evidence of family income (documents supplied by the government, such as tax returns, income certificates from local authorities, and EWS certificates).
•  Information about the applicant’s or parent’s bank account.
• Passport size photographs of the candidate.
