The social justice and Special Assistant Department of the Government of Maharashtra state has launched the Savitribai Phule scholarship. To help the girl child belonging to backward communities of the state. Under this scheme, the selected students will get financial support from the state government. All the students who belong to the backward communities will be eligible to apply for the Savitribai Phule scholarship. About Savitribai Phule Scholarship 2024

To help financially backward students, the government has launched the Savitribai Phule Scholarship. All the students who will get selected for the scholarship will get financial assistance from the state government. The Students who clear the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form on the official website before the last date. Only the students who belong to the backward category are eligible to apply for this scholarship. All the students who have cleared the eligibility criteria can easily apply under the scheme through the official website.

Savitribai Phule Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

You must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship:-

• Only girl candidates from Maharashtra are eligible for this scholarship.
• Candidates must belong to SC, VJNT, or SBC category.
• The candidates must be studying in the 5th to 10th classes in recognized Government schools.
• Candidates must have passed the previous year’s examination.

Selection Process

The applicant will have to go through the following selection criteria for the scholarship:-

• The Selections for Savitribai Phule Scholarship are made on the basis of merit.
• Girl candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance and hardworking skills.
• The final selection depends on the decision of the Assistant Commissioner of Social Welfare.
• The Assistant Commissioner has the right to cancel the scholarship without any notice.
• Assistant Commissioner verifies the application and shortlists the candidates for the scholarship.
• The shortlisted girl candidates will receive the amount as per the sanctioned fund.
• The scholarship amount will be transferred directly into the shortlisted candidate’s bank account.

Scholarship Benefits

The following benefits will be provided in this scholarship:-

Documents Required

The following documents must be submitted with the scholarship form:-

• Candidates’ caste certificates are issued by the competent authority
• Attested copies of mark sheets of the last appeared examination
• A photocopy of the first page of the candidate’s bank passbook
• A photocopy of the Aadhar Card
• Xerox copy of domicile certificate
• Candidates have one recent passport-size photograph
• Age proof (class 10th mark sheets or birth certificate)
• Residential Proof (Electricity Bill/ Voter ID/ Aadhar Card/ Ration Card/ Driving License etc.)

Savitribai Phule Scholarship Renewal

The applicant must go through the following terms and conditions in order to renew their scholarship:-

• Candidates who have already registered for the Savitribai Phule Scholarship must renew it every year.
• The candidate’s application renewal depends on their performance in each year’s annual exam.
• Candidates must have passed the previous year’s examination to renew the scholarship.
• If the candidate’s performance is satisfactory then they will be considered to avail of the benefits of this scholarship.
• Candidates can modify the existing application and submit it for renewal.

• The college wise course list will open on the screen.

• Open the Official Website of the scholarship.

• Click on the Dashboard option.
• Now on the Dashboard, click on the Savitribai Phule District Wise Application Status option.

• A list of all the districts will open on the screen.
• Select your district and get the details.

Savitribai Phule Bill Disbursement Status

• Open the Official Website of the scholarship.
• The homepage of the website will open.
• Click on the Dashboard option.
• Now on the Dashboard, click on the Savitribai Phule Bill Disbursement Status option.
• Select the Academic year and Financial year.

• A district wise list will open on the screen.
• Select your district and get the details.

Student Application Status
