What is Reliance foundation scholarship?
Reliance foundation have launched Reliance foundation scholarship for the students of the country. The foundation has selected around 5000 first year undergraduate students from 27 states and 4 union territories. Under this scheme all the selected scholars will be receiving a grant up to Rs 2 lakh. This scholarship is awarded on merit cum means basis to students in any stream of study. This year the selected scholars are from engineering, technology, science, medicine, commerce, arts, business management, computer application, law, education, hospitality, architecture and other professional degrees. Out of these 5000 scholars 51% are girls. Other than that around 99 students were disabled. Reliance foundation aims to award 50000 scholarships in next 10 years.
Results Out for Reliance Foundation UG scholarship
On February 9, 2024, the Reliance Foundation announced the result for undergraduate scholarship 2023-24. Around 5000 students got selected who will get a cash reward of up to INR 2 lakh to continue their education without worrying about any financial hurdle. The selection of these students was done based on a systematic merit cum means process. These students got 12-grade marks in the last examination. Until today, around 23136 students have been rewarded with this scholarship out of which 48% are female students and 3001 are students with disability.

Number of Selected Students Under Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship
In order to support all the meritorious students from all corners of the country the reliance Foundation provides undergraduate scholarship. So that all the students will be able to achieve higher education. This scholarship is awarded on merit cum means basis to the meritorious students. The Reliance foundation also supports students who want to pursue post graduate courses in various discipline. The foundation offers 100 postgraduate scholarship to the selected students. Through this scholarship scheme scholarship amount upto Rs 6 lakh will be provided to the beneficiaries. Students belonging to all socioeconomic backgrounds will be granted scholarships on the basis of merit. Under this scheme 80% of the funds will be granted in advance at the start of the academic year and the remaining 20% will be granted upon the request to support professional development including indirect academic and personal development expenses.
