The goal of Maharashtra 2025’s Pre-matric Scholarship for Children Engaged in Unclean Occupation is to support children from households who engage in filthy jobs like tanning, scavenging, and related activities. In order to guarantee that children from these backgrounds have access to high-quality education, the government offers this scholarship. All eligible students, including those from Scheduled Caste (SC), may apply for the award. In addition to monthly financial aid, the scholarship offers an extra award for books and study materials.

Eligibility Criteria

• 1) Students from any category may apply for the program. 
• 2) No upper limit on income
•  3) Parents must work in a filthy profession. 
• 4) Students must be enrolled in a government-run or government-aided school. 
• 5) The student needs to live in Maharashtra. 
• 6) Central will disburse at their end, and central details will be supplied via API. 
• 7) The program is available to all board students, with the exception of Self Finance student schools. 
• 8) Students who receive a failing grade for the year are ineligible until they pass the course. 

Financial Benefits

• 1) For ten months, the host will get Rs. 700 per month, plus an ad hoc grant of Rs. 1000 for books and study materials.
• 2) For ten months, Day-Scholar will pay Rs. 110 per month, and an ad hoc grant of Rs. 750 will cover books and study materials. 
• 3) The state owns 40% and the central government 60%. 
• 4) Payment will be made in a single installment.

Required Documents

• Domicile Certificate of Occupation (signed by a ward officer, commissioner of the corporation, deputy commissioner, head of the municipal corporation, or gram sevak and sarpanch, among others).
•  Self-reporting on ₹20 stamp paper that one is involved in a filthy occupation.

• After completing the necessary registration information, click the “Register” button (or log in if already registered). 
• Click on the “New Applicant Registration” link after navigating to it. 

• Fill out the necessary information and confirm your phone number and email address to finish the registration process. 
• Use your username and password to log in after completing the signup process. 
• Complete the application form, upload the necessary documents, and submit

• You will be prompted to choose the type of login you wish to complete in a new window.
