To provide free education to all the students who belong to the financial families of Navi Mumbai city the authorities have introduced the NMMC scholarships. The authorities have launched various scholarships for students from different sectors including women and child welfare, marginalized sector, contract sanitation workers, laborers, and youth welfare projects. With the help of these scholarships, students can pursue higher education without worrying about financial troubles. All the students who clear the eligibility criteria are requested to visit the official website and fill out the application form online.
The objective of the NMMC Scholarship
The main objective of launching the NMMC Scholarship is to uplift the social status and standard of living of all the financially unstable students of Maharashtra. All the students who belong to the economically weaker section of the society are eligible to avail the benefits of the NMMC Scholarship. According to the information released by the Maharashtra state government, a total of 41 crore has been spent by the authorities for the implementation of the scholarship.
