The NSE syllabus is intended to evaluate students’ general academic aptitude and knowledge. The exam covers the following topics, and the degree of difficulty is modified based on the student’s present level of education:

- General Knowledge: 25 points for 25 questions
- Logic and Analysis: 25 questions for 25 points
