The National Institute of Career Education (NICE) has launched the National Scholarship Exam (NSE). To provide monetary incentives and scholarships to all the meritorious students in India who belong to the economically weaker sections of the society the authorities have launched the national Scholarship exam. All the students of India who are studying in classes 5th to 12th and the students pursuing degree or diploma courses are eligible to register under the examination. About NICE Foundation 

The National Institute of Career Education (NICE) foundation is a body that was established by the government of India under the Trust Act 1882 (Reg. No. 1962). The NICE Foundation is an Educational Trust that was made to provide an excellent learning framework that prepares students to compete in a diverse world market. Objective of the National Scholarship Exam

The main objective of introducing the National Scholarship Exam is to help students prepare for competitive exams from the start of their schooling career. By providing financial assistance to all the students who have scored good marks in the exam the authorities will encourage the students to participate in the exam. With the help of the exam, the students can pinpoint their strengths and weaknesses by checking their results and analyzing their mistakes. A total of 100 questions will be asked on the question paper and each question will be MCQ type so the students will get 4 options for each question.

Eligibility Criteria 

  • The students who are studying in classes 5th to 12th in SSC, ICSE or CBSE boards are eligible to apply
  • Students were pursuing diploma or undergraduate degrees courses in any stream can apply.

Exam Pattern

  • The entire paper will be based on Objective Type.
  • Each question will be provided by 4 alternatives.
  • Total Questions – 100 / Total Marks – 100
  • Exam Duration – 1 Hour (Total – 60 Minutes).
  • No Negative Marking.

  • The registration for the exam will start on 20 May 2024.
  • The last date to apply for the exam is 31 October 2024.
  • The exam will held on 08 December 2024 Or 15 December 2024.

NSE Exam Fee

  • The NSE exam fees for all the students will be INR 500.
  • Examination fees will be waived for children of martyred soldiers (Children of Shahid Jawans). Such students should get the free payment code for their application by contacting WhatsApp Number: 8424005050.
