Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship:-

• Applicant must be a citizen of the Himachal Pradesh state.
• The applicant must be a girl.
• She should belong to the Valmiki family involved in the unclean occupation.
• The applicant must have taken admitted in a private or government institute/ college for any post-matric course.

Maharishi Balmiki Chatravriti Yojana Benefits

The following benefits will be provided to the candidates in this scholarship:-

• 50000 – Incentive amount is sanctioned to the scheduled caste candidates who take admission.

Implementation Process

• Students have to first apply online from the official website.
• After a successful application take a print of the application form.
• Submit the form to the Head of the Institute.
• The Head of the Institute will then forward the verified contact list to the DDHE and to this directorate for online verification & cross-checking.
• After successful online verification, the DDHE shall retain the hard copies of the students of Private RecognizedInstitution(s), and return the remaining forms to the concerned schools.
• The DDHE also needs to forward the Verified Candidate List(s) in r/o their respective district(s) to this Directorate.
• The Govt. Colleges (within state) need to forward only the Verified Candidate List(s) (on the prescribed format) to this Directorate.

• Click the “New Registration“ option given at top of the page.
