The Legrand Empowering Scholarship 2024–2025 is a social project of Group Legrand India that aims to support worthy girls’ higher education. Girls with disabilities, COVID-19-affected pupils, LGBTQ+ students, and students with single parents or orphans are also included. 60% of the annual course fee, up to INR 60,000, would be awarded to academically talented female students pursuing bachelor degrees in science or finance (B.Tech., B.E., B.Arch., etc.), or other scientific-related fields. Legrand Empowering Scholarship for General Category
The Legrand Empowering Scholarship for General Category is exclusively available to female students in India. The applicant must have been admitted to an Indian university for a B.Tech, B. E,B.Arch, B.B.A., B.Com, or B.Sc. program. The candidates must have completed their Class 12 education in 2023–2024. Female students will get 60% of the annual course fees up to INR 60,000 (whichever is less) till the course is completed, depending on their academic achievement. Candidates must have passed the exams for Classes 10 and 12 with a minimum score of 70% or higher. The applicant’s total annual family income shall not exceed INR 5,00,000.

Every year, after the student submits the necessary paperwork (relevant fee receipts, college bonafide certificate, previous year mark sheet, and bank proofs), Buddy4Study, Legrand’s implementation partner, will pay the eligible scholarship amount to the student’s designated Indian account number (As per the payment cycle communicated).
