Indian Space Research Organization has launched ISRO Young Scientist Program. This program is specially designed for students who are studying in schools. What Is ISRO Young Scientist Program 2023?
The program is the second edition of the program launched by the Indian Space Research organization. Under this program students get selected from across the country and training will be provided to them. Training will be related to ISRO work, scientific research, space, and rocket science. Through this program, the government is intended to encourage students to pursue their academics in STEM (Science, technology, engineering, and Mathematics). Training under this program will be held during the summer vacations. The duration of the program will be about two weeks

Objective Of ISRO Young Scientist Program
The authority has started Yuva VIgyani KAryakram (YUVIKA) with the motive to encourage the students in pursuing their academics in STEM. To create their interest during the program training will be held in which students will get information about ISRO work, scientific research space, and rocket science.

ISRO Young Scientist Program Eligibility Criteria
All those applicants who fulfill the further mentioned eligibility criteria can participate in Yuva VIgyani KAryakram (YUVIKA)
- Should be an Indian citizen resident in India or overseas
- Must possess 8th standard passing certificate
- Must be pursuing 9th standard from a recognized school by state or Central board.
Selection Procedure for YUVIKA
- Three Students from each state/ UT will get selected
- 5 seats are reserved for overseas Indian citizen
- Selection will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the previous year’s examination or extracurricular activities achieved by the student.

ISRO Young Scientist Program 2023 Application Procedure
- To apply for the program, the applicant has to open the ISRO Young Scientist website of ISRO.
- The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
- Now from the homepage, go to the YUVIKA Registration option.
- A new page will be displayed.
- The page will provide you with all the details provided for the registration process.
- Read the details carefully and apply.
- Step 1- you have to do your email registration through the website provided by the government.
- For this, you have to enter the name of the student and the email ID.
- An OTP will be sent to the provided email.
- Enter the OTP in the given box and register successfully.
- Step 2- you have to attend an online quiz within 48 hours of email registration.
- Read the instructions carefully for the quiz and attend the online quiz.
- Step 3- you have to log in to Yuvika portal minimum after 60 minutes from quiz submission and fill all the information correctly. Submit the online application form and download the submitted form.
- Step 4- upload the signed copy and all the related certificates before the last date of registration.
