Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) is introducing IIT Gandhinagar Research Internship in Computational Nanoelectronics 2023 for the students who are enrolled in Ph.D./MTech/MSc degree programmes in the following subjects: Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Semiconductor Devices, Nanoelectronics, Physics, Material Sciences, or related research areas. This is a five-in-one research internship position under a skill & training internship programme approved by the Department of Science and Technology, Accelerate Vigyan, SERB, Government of India. The selected students will be allowed to do research on the Process and Device Modeling of  Low-temperature Grown Atomic-thin 2D Materials Based Devices. The students get an opportunity to get free hostel accommodation and free mess food which are borne by the IITGN. The deadline for application form submission will be on the 30th of April 2023. And the duration of the IIT Gandhinagar Research Internship will be held from 22nd May 2023 to 14th July 2023.

Importance of Computational Nanoelectronic Research

A subfield of nanotechnology called computational nanotechnology develops and employs computer-based models to comprehend, examine, and forecast the behavior or characteristics of systems pertinent to nanotechnology.
