About Himachal Pradesh Centrally Sponsored Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC Students
The applicant must be a permanent resident of the Himachal Pradesh state and the applicant must follow perfect eligibility criteria in order to apply for the Himachal Pradesh Centrally Sponsored Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC Students presented by the Himachal Pradesh government for people belonging to the OBC category and are permanent residents of the Himachal state. The applicant will be provided monthly benefits so that they can continue their education in the Himachal Pradesh state and get proper benefits related to the educational incentive. This scholarship will be available till the last date of 30th November 2022 and you can fill out the application form for the scholarship opportunity by visiting the official portal of the national scholarship program.

Benefits Of Himachal Pradesh Centrally Sponsored Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC Students
The selected students will receive the following benefits –
- Monthly scholarship for hostellers from Class 3 to Class 10: INR 500 (for 10 months)
- Monthly scholarship for day scholars from Class 1 to 10: INR 100 (for 10 months)
- Ad-hoc grant: INR 500 per annum
Documents Required
The following documents are required to successfully apply for this prestigious scholarship scheme:-
- Passport-size photograph of the applicant
- Attested copy of mark sheet/certificate of previously passed examinations
- Caste certificate issued by an authorized Revenue Officer
- Income certificate
- Domicile certificate
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship scheme:-
- The applicant must be studying from Class 1 to 10
- The applicant must belong to the OBC community
- The applicant must be a permanent resident/domicile of Himachal Pradesh.
- The applicant must have an annual family income of not more than INR 2.5 lakh per annum from all sources

Himachal Pradesh Centrally Sponsored Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC Students Application Procedure
To apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- The candidates will first have to visit the HP Centrally Sponsored website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here
- The home page will open on your screen.
- Click on the option called New Registration
- The instructions will open on your screen.
- Tick mark the declaration.
- Click on the “Continue” option.
- Enter all of the details.
- Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details etc.
- Enter the captcha code
- Click the “Register” option.
- Now you have to log in using your credentials.
- Click on the option called Application Form
- The application form will be displayed on the screen
- Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID etc.
- Click on “Save & Continue”
- Upload the documents.
- Click on “Final Submission’’
- The application form will be successfully submitted.
Check Application Status
If you want to check the application status then you will have to follow the simple procedure given:-
- The candidates will first have to visit the official website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here
- The home page will open on your screen.
- Click on the option called Login.
- A new page will open on your screen.
- You need to select your year from the drop-down menu.
- A new page will open on your screen.
- Enter your application ID and password.
- Click on the option called Submit.
- The application status will open on your screen.
Terms and Conditions
The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions in order to apply for the scholarship: successfully-
- The applicant should not be in receipt of any other centrally-fund pre-matric scholarship.
- The scholarship will award for one academic year (i.e 10 months).
- The students are not allowed to take up employment or render help to parents in their work during the course of their studies.
- The regular attendance record of the student must not be less than 60% of the previous year.
- The bank account of the applicant must be aadhaar seeded to avoid duplication.
- 30% of seats are reserved for the girl candidates and 5% of seats are for students with disabilities.
- Students who pursue their studies through correspondence courses are also eligible. The term correspondence includes distance and continuing education.
- The students domiciled in one State/UT but holding an OBC certificate of another State/UT can avail of the scholarship in the State/UT from which the OBC certificate was issued.
