About Dr. KVR Prasad Memorial Scholarship
Health Education and Sports Society, involved in ensuring the needy have access to quality Health care, education, and sports, has called for applications from students hailing from impoverished families seeking admission in MBBS for the Dr KVR Prasad Memorial Scholarship. The award will be given to deserving students who are able to get admission to a medical college through merit but cannot afford to pay the fee due to low family incomes. It will take care of the students under graduation college fees for 4 years. The award was instituted in memory of the founder of the HCS Society, the late Dr. KVR Prasad, a noted physician who served poor patients from his Sridevi Nursing Home at Sitaphalmandi.

Objective of HES Society Dr. KVR Prasad Memorial Scholarship
HES Society was founded by Dr. KVR Prasad who passed away on 2nd July 2020 to aid and mentor disabled individuals to excel in the field of education, sports and help those who need access to good health care but cannot afford it. The objective of the society is to help the students who get a seat in MBBS on the basis of merit list in NEET-UG but cannot afford it due to low family income.
Benefits of Scholarship
The students who have secured a merit seat through NEET UG and have a family income of less than 1 lakh per annum will get the scholarship and the award will be given to the deserving students who are eligible for admission in a medical college but cannot afford due to low family income. It will take care of the students’ undergraduate and college fees for 4 years.

To be eligible under the scholarship the candidate must fulfill all the criteria:

- The family income of the applicant should be less than 1 lakh per annum.
