Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana applicants need to meet the following eligibility criteria these are as mentioned below:
- The applying candidate must be a permanent citizen of Odisha state.
- Applying applicant must have to any one of the following categories of families:
- A family Affected by HIV/AIDS.
- Begging/Destitute or Living on alms
- Family/ household without Shelter
- Manual Scavenger Families
- The family belongs to Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups
- Family of Single Mother (a mother who has dependent children whether she is divorced, widowed or unmarried)
- Legally Released Bonded Labourer.

- Girl Student Recused from Child Marriage
- Applying applicant must be enrolled in any regular UG/PG courses ( Technical, Non-Technical, Professional, Non-Professional) from any Colleges/ Institute/ University in Odisha recognized by state government.
- Family’s income of a applying candidate must be less than Rs. 2.50 lakhs per annum.
