- An applicant must be a graduate of a Broward County public
- The candidate must have scored at least 2.5 unweighted GPA
- The annual family income should not exceed more than $84,000
- The candidate must have completed a free application for federal student aid.
- An applicant must have enrolled in 9th credit hours and a degree-seeking program.
- The candidate should maintain a payment cab between tuition, fees, and any non-loan-based financial aid.
American Dream Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must have completed their degree program with at least 75%.

- The candidate must have a score of 2100 to 6500.

Broward Futures Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must have obtained a referral from an approved mentorship organization.
- An applicant must have and roll themselves in a degree-seeking or eligible certificate program.
- The candidate must have begun dear studies at the college on or before their 22nd birthday
- The candidate must have covered the cost of tuition and institution fees up to 30 credit scores.
- An applicant must have contributed towards the cost of books and supplies of each academic year.
Bright Futures Eligibility Criteria
- An applicant can continue their High school graduation with high academic achievements.
- The student must clear all the Eligibility requirements.
- The candidate must have informed the Florida Department of Education that he or she will attend the classes.
- The Bright Future school code should be 062 for Broward College.
Horatio Alger Technical Scholarship
- The candidate must be pursuing a career in technical education.
- Must be studying at a nonprofit for the secondary institute.
- The scholarship will be provided to a student who has faced and overcomes great obstacles in their life

- Undocumented immigrant youth can apply for this opportunity.
- The candidate must have completed an application through The Dream Us.
