About Baba Gurbachan Singh Scholarship

The Education Department of Sant Nirankari Mandal, Delhi will be helping people to gain an education without having the need to suffer because of their weak financial background. The scholarship will be specially available for students who are pursuing diploma or degree courses from recognized universities or educational institutions present in India. The annual family income of the beneficiary must not exceed rupees 3.5 lacs.

Benefits Of Baba Gurbachan Singh Scholarship

The following benefits will be provided to the candidates in this scholarship scheme:-

• Selected students will get financial assistance of up to INR 50,000 per year or the tuition fee payable each year (whichever is less).

Eligibility Criteria 

You must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for this scholarship scheme:-

• The applicant must be a regular student pursuing a diploma or degree course from a recognized university or educational institution in India
• The applicant must have an annual family income of not more than INR 3.50 Lakhs
• He/She must have secured at least 60% marks in the class 10 or class 12 examination
• The applicant must not have been detained by the institution or failed an examination or penalized by the institution on the grounds of indiscipline
• The applicant must not be in receipt of any similar scholarship
• He/She must not have taken admitted through the management/convener quota or any other quota of the educational institution

Documents Required

The following documents must be submitted in this scholarship scheme:-

• Photograph
• Family income certificate or latest payslip
• Admission slip or admission letter
• Mark sheets of all the examinations passed from class 10
• Class 10 and 12 certificate
• Latest fee receipts of the university/institution
• Fee details signed by the principal of the institution
• Certificate by the institution
• Residence proof like Aadhaar card, Ration card, Passport, Pan card, Voter id card, etc. 
• Copy of student’s bank passbook

Baba Gurbachan Singh Scholarship Scheme Selection Criteria

The applicant will have to go through the following selection criteria in order to be eligible for this scholarship:-

• The Education Committee of the Education Department of Sant Nirankari Mandal, Delhi will review the applications submitted and prepare a list of shortlisted candidates. Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview with the Education Committee (if required) after which the final list of candidates will be prepared. 

Terms and Conditions

The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions to be successfully eligible for this scholarship:-

• Financial assistance, being offered under this scholarship scheme will completely depend on the capability and requirement of the course.
• All the documents enclosed with the application form should be self-attested.
• The applicants must not leave any column of the application form blank.
• For the final year of the course, 25% of the course fee will be paid only on receipt of the final year mark sheet.
