About Indira Gandhi Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojana 2024

A new scholarship has been launched by the Himachal Pradesh government to provide scholarships among the students of class 12th so that they can pursue higher studies. this scholarship will help in reducing the literacy rate in Himachal Pradesh. Under Indira Gandhi Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojana the scholarship will be rewarded to the 10 Male toppers from any of the streams by the HP Board of School Education and the top 10 male and female students from BA BSc BCom to provide scholarships for the professional stream.

Objective Of Scholarship

As we all know there are many students who want to continue higher education but by being economically weak are not being able to pursue higher education and this results in their dream of continuing their education stayed incomplete. By keeping this in mind the government of Himachal Pradesh has launched Indira Gandhi Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojana.  Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided by the Himachal Pradesh government to continue their higher education and to reduce the rate of illiteracy in the state

• Topper of class 12th from any stream will get the scholarship if they join a professional or academic courses

• The applicants must have passed BA, BSC, and BCOM with at least 60% of the marks.
