To support and encourage sports in India, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) is moving toward a scholarship program for a number of sports. The only goal of the BPCL Sports Scholarship scheme 2025 is to provide financial assistance to young, gifted male and female athletes who possess the courage to compete at the national and international levels. Athletes and athletes will receive financial assistance under this program to cover their coaching, training, and other associated costs. To better concentrate on their training and sports, the chosen athletes will get a monthly stipend, sports uniforms for their field, and tournament expenses up to a specific period. Objective of BPCL Sports Scholarship Scheme

Supporting young, gifted athletes who have the potential to succeed at the national and international levels is the primary Objective of the BPCL Sports scholarship Scheme. The award offers athletes financial support to help them pay for coaching, training, and other associated fees. Selected athletes will be able to concentrate more on their athletic careers by receiving a monthly stipend, sports equipment, and tournament expenditure coverage up to a certain amount. The program provides financial aid to athletes to help them pay for coaching, training, and other associated expenditures.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only Indian citizens who are residents are eligible for the sports scholarship program.  
• Applicants should not have received any other scholarships from other institutions or organizations.

Three types of scholarships will be awarded: 

1. Beginning Athlete Participation – (Category Sub Junior / Age 13 & Up to 17 Years Old) 
2. Engagement of Junior Athletes: (Category Junior / Age 17 & Above and up to 21 Years Old) 
3. Participation of Elite Athletes: (Category Senior / Age 21 & Above and up to 25 Years). 

• Age will be calculated starting on April 1st of the scholarship year. However, ten years old will be the minimum age requirement for a chess scholarship. Any of the following documents must be given as proof of age: a birth certificate, passport, Aadhar card, or 10th grade certificate.

Selection Process

• The committee, which was officially established by the BPCL, will choose the nominee. 
• The candidate will be chosen on the basis of merit. 
• The scholarship will be awarded to the candidate who has met the eligibility requirements.

To apply for the BPCL Sports Scholarship, follow the steps given below;

• To access the sports scholarship program, click the link.
•  Then scroll down, select the “Apply Now” option, carefully fill out the information, and include certificates of athletic accomplishment and any requested paperwork. 

• Applications must be submitted by April 16, 2025. 
• Selection will begin after the performance and certificates have been reviewed. 
• Scholarships will be awarded to the worthy applicants, and the chosen candidates will be informed.
