Margadeepam Scholarship 2025: Download Form, Eligibility and Last Date

The Kerala state government has launched the Margadeepam Scholarship 2025. To provide scholarship benefits to the students who are studying in classes 1st to 8th in government-aided institutes in Kerala state the state government has launched the Margadeepam Scholarship 2025. With the help of this scholarship, the Kerala state government will allow the students to pursue primary education without worrying about any financial difficulties. The scholarships are provided based on the population ratio of various communities including Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jain, and Parsi communities. All the students who clear the eligibility criteria are requested to visit the official website and fill out the application form. 

About Margadeepam Scholarship 

The Minority Welfare Department of Kerala state is the nodal department that has launched and administrates the working of the Margadeepam Scholarship. Under the Margadeepam Scholarship, the Kerala state government will provide financial assistance of INR 1500 to all the selected students. All the students of Kerala state who have an annual income of less than INR 1 lakh are eligible to avail the benefits of the scholarship. 30% of the scholarship is reserved for the female students of Kerala state in case there are still seeds available the authorities will select male students.

Objective of Margadeepam Scholarship 

The main objective of launching the Margadeepam Scholarship is to make sure every student will receive primary education in Kerala state regardless of their financial state. By using the financial assistance of INR 1500 given under the scholarship the students can pay their school fees easily without any difficulty. In cases of special categories (such as disabilities), the applicants must provide the corresponding disability certificate, with a minimum of 40% disability or higher. This scholarship will uplift the social status and standard of living of the students who belong to financially weak households in Kerala state.

Eligibility Criteria 

• The students must be a permanent resident of Kerala state.
• The annual income of the student’s family must not exceed INR 1 lakh. 
• The students must be studying from 1st to 8th.

Selection Process

• Only those students who have a family income of less than INR 1 lakh will be selected by the authorities. 
• In case of any kind of disability, the students must provide their disability certificate and all other necessary certificates.

Margadeepam Scholarship Apply Online 2025 

• STEP 1: All the students to clear the eligibility criteria are requested to visit the official website and fill out the application form to avail the benefits of the Margadeepam scholarship. 

• STEP 2: Once the students reach the homepage of the official website they must locate and click on the option “official login” under the heading “Registration/Login”. 

• STEP 3: A login page will appear on your desktop screen the students must enter all the details that are asked and click on the option “login”. 
• STEP 4: A new page will appear on your desktop screen the students must enter their course and institution details. 
• STEP 5: Now the students must click on the option “Add student”, enter all the details that are asked, and attach the necessary documents. 
• STEP 6: Now the students must enter their scholarship criteria and enter the criteria details. 
• STEP 7: After entering all the details the students must quickly review it and click on the option “apply for scholarship” to complete their process.

• STEP 1: All the students who have already applied for the scholarship can now with the official website to check the Margadeepam Scholarship Status. 

• STEP 2: Once the students reach the homepage of the official website they must locate and click on the option called “check status”.  

• STEP 3: A new page will appear on your desktop screen the students must enter their Aadhar card number. 
• STEP 4: After entering the details the students must review it and click on the option “submit” to complete their process.
