What is Post Matric Scholarship?

The Oasis post matric scholarship is for students who of graduated from their schools. All the students who belong to the SC, ST or OBC section of the society are eligible to apply for the Oasis post-matric scholarship. This scholarship is for all the students who want to pursue higher education but due to financial problems cannot. All eligible students can apply for the Oasis Post Matric Scholarship by filling out the application from the official website. The Oasis Scholarship will provide financial assistance to all do the students who have cleared their class 10th examination and want to continue their education. All the Students who clear the eligibility criteria are requested to apply for the Oasis Post Matric Scholarship before the last date 28 February 2023.

Objective of Oasis Scholarship

The main objective of launching the Oasis scholarship is to provide financial assistance to financially unstable students. The students from SC, ST, or OBC section of society are eligible to apply for the Oasis scholarship. The scholarship is a great opportunity for all students who want to pursue higher education but due to financial instability cannot. The financial assistance will encourage students to focus on their studies. The Scholarship will reduce the dropout rate among the SC, ST, or OBC students of the West Bengal State. This scholarship will help to increase the education rate in the West Bengal State.

Eligibility Criteria for Oasis Scholarships

Pre-matric scholarship for SC students	A student must belong to the ST category. Students of classes 9th and 10th are eligible to apply. The annual family/guardian income should not be more than INR 2 Lakh from all sources.
Pre-matric scholarship for ST students	A student must belong to the ST category. Students of class 9th and 10th are eligible to apply. The annual family/guardian income should not be more than INR 2 Lakh from all sources.
Post-matric scholarship for SC/ST students	You should be studying at the post-secondary or post-matriculation level and belong to SC/ST category. The annual income of parents/guardians should not be more than INR 2.5 Lakh from all sources.
Post-matric scholarship for OBC students	You should be studying at the post-secondary level and belong to the OBC category. The annual income of the family/guardian from all sources should not be more than INR 1 Lakh.

• All the applicant will be selected based on their clearance of eligibility criteria. 
• Only the students from the SC, ST, or OBC sections of the society are selected for the Oasis Scholarship 2024.
• To get selected for the Oasis scholarship the applicant must fill out the application form before the last date.
• To get selected for the scholarship the applicant must fill out all information correctly.

Oasis Scholarship Student Registration 

• To register for the scholarship first you need to go to the Oasis website by clicking on the link here

• On the homepage click on the option student register

• A new page will appear on your screen
• Select the district of your choice 
• On the new page fill out your caste certificate details and click on the option submit 
• Once verified you will be directed to the registration page.
• Fill in all mandatory fields
• Click on submit.
• On successful registration, you can download your permanent user ID/application number and password.
• You need to download by clicking on the “Download Login information/acknowledgment slip” button.
• Now you will have to log in using your credential.
• Click on the “Login Now” button.
• Enter your user ID.
• Enter your password.
• Now, fill in your further details and bank information carefully.
• Click on ‘Save and Proceed’.
• You can click on the “Verify and Lock” button to lock all the information filled.
• Once you have locked the information filled, you cannot make any changes further.
• After successfully locking, the application form, click on the “Download Application Form” button to get the computer-generated copy of the filled-in application form.
• You have to submit the printed copy of the duly-filled application form along with copies of all supporting documents to your concerned BDO (Block Development Officer) for the Block area or PO cum DWO for the municipality corporation.
