About Vidyadhan Portal
Sarojini Damodaran Foundation has established the Vidyadhan Portal to provide educational opportunities to students from economically challenged families. With the help of this portal, the students who have completed their class 10th will be able to study further higher education without worrying about any financial hurdles. This portal currently has 8000 students from various states like Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Odisha, New Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. The selected student from each state will get a 2-year scholarship from this foundation and they will be able to continue their degree course. Objective of Vidyadhan Tamil Nadu Plus 1 Scholarship
To provide an opportunity for the students of Tamil Nadu to pursue higher education after the 12th, the Vidyadhan from Sarojini Damodaran Foundation has launched the Vidyadhan Tamil Nadu Plus 1 Scholarship. Under this scholarship, INR 10,000 per year will be provided to the students so that they can continue their higher education without worrying about any financial hurdles. The student who will secure 80% in their 10th and 90% or obtain a 9 CGPA in CBSE can easily apply under this scholarship. The main objective of launching this scholarship is to help students achieve their dreams and build their careers. Eligibility Criteria
- An applicant must be a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu.
- The annual family income should not exceed more than INR 2 lakhs.
- The candidate must have completed their 10th examination with good marks.
- An applicant must have secured at least 90% or obtained 9 CGPA in their 10th examination.
- The cut-off mark for disabled students is 60%
