Nehru Scholarships (1990)  

The Nehru scholarship is provided to the people who are coming from the economically weaker section of the society and they need proper resources in order to continue their education in India. The people can apply for this scholarship if they are interested in continuing their education before class 12th. Students can easily apply for the scholarship if they are successfully completing their annual examinations. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Children of parents having annual income up to Rs. 5 Lakhs
• Orphans
• Children of widows having no source of income
• Children of disabled/handicapped persons.
• Others
• The certificate of income of the parents from the employer or an affidavit duly attested by the Notary Public has to be submitted along with the prescribed application form (Annexure A), duly recommended by the Head of the School.

Reward Details 

• Primary Section- Rs.1800/- per annum.
• Middle Section- Rs.2400/- per annum
• High classes- Rs.3000/- per annum
• Sr. Sec. Classes- Rs.3600/- per annum

Mittal Panday Scholarship Girls [Graduate]  

The Mittal scholarship is only available for female students who are pursuing bachelor’s degrees in the courses presented by the concerned authorities. This scholarship is given to girl students pursuing BA/B.Com/B.Sc. (Degree Courses) & BCA/BBA/B.Tech/B.Ed (Professional Courses). The people will be provided opportunities so that they can continue their education for up to 3 years for professionals and degree courses available by the organization. 

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant for the scholarship should be a student in 1st Year B.A./B. Com/B.Sc./others (Degree Courses) & BCA/BBA/B. Tech./B.Ed./others (Professional courses).
• The Income of parents should not exceed Rs.5.00 lakhs per annum. The certificate of income of the parents from the employer or an affidavit in case self-employed duly attested by Notary Public has to be submitted along with the prescribed application form (Annexure A), duly recommended by the Principal.
• The student should have secured a minimum of 70% marks in Class 10+2. For the scholarship to continue till completion of graduation the student has to obtain minimum 60% marks every year. In the event of failure to score this percentage, the scholarship will be withdrawn.
• The student should not be a recipient of any other scholarship or financial aid from the Govt. or non-Govt. agencies.
• The benefit of the scholarship should be allowed up to a maximum of two members in a family.

Reward Details 

• For students of Degree Courses (BA, B.Sc., B.Com. & others)- Rs.15,000/- per year or Actual whichever is lower.
• For students of Professional Courses (BCA, BBA, B.Ed., B.Tech. & others)- Rs.20,000/- per year or Actual whichever is lower.

Mittal Panday Scholarship [Post Graduate]  

Another Mittal Pandey scholarship is available for people who are pursuing post-graduation degrees in various institutes presented by the authorities. This scholarship also will be available for people who are pursuing master’s degrees in both bachelor’s and professional courses available in India. All of the expenses of the degree courses will be covered through the development of this prestigious scheme created by the organization and you can fill out the application form after you have secured your admission in your organization.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant for the scholarship should be a student in 1st year of M.A/M.Sc/M.Com/M.Tech/MBA/MCA/M.Ed/MS/MD/PG Diplomas etc. The student will apply for the scholarship giving all the necessary details as per the prescribed application form (Annexure A), duly recommended by the Principal.
• The student should have secured 70% marks in the graduate examination. For the scholarship to continue, the student has to obtain minimum 60% marks each year. In the event of failure to score this percentage, the scholarship will be withdrawn.
• The scholarship amount will be disbursed as follows: –
  • Students whose parents’ total income is up to Rs.5,00,000 (Rs. Five Lacs only) per annum, will be eligible for the scholarship.
  • The certificate of income of the parents, from the Employer or an affidavit, in case of self-employed, duly attested by a Notary Public has to be submitted along with the application duly attested by the Principal of the College.
• The student should not be a recipient of any other scholarship or financial aid from the Govt. or Non-Govt. agencies.
• The benefit of a scholarship should be allowed up to a maximum of two members in a family.
• Preference will be given to the recipients of Mittal Panday Scholarship Girls (Graduate).
• All students who are in receipt of a scholarship under the Mittal Panday Scholarship (Meritorious) will also be eligible to apply for a scholarship under this scheme.

Reward Details

• Post Graduate courses like M.Com/MA/M.Sc./PG Diplomas and others would be paid a maximum of Rs.20,000/- per year or actual, whichever is lower.
• For Professional courses like MBA/MCA/M.Tech/M.Ed./PG Diplomas and others across different colleges/universities in India: students would be paid a maximum of Rs.25,000/- per year or actual, whichever is lower.

Mittal Panday Scholarship [Vocational]  

The vocational scholarship is given to the students of ITI for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana undergoing vocational training with the aim to help them become employable. The scholarship is given in a single installment of Rs. 2,500/- each to 50 girls’ students and is distributed in November during the annual function.

Eligibility Criteria

• This scholarship is given to the students of ITI for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana undergoing skill development training with the aim to help in the promotion of skills amongst women as women’s participation in vocational education & training is especially low as compared to men. 

Reward Details 

• This scholarship is given in a single installment of Rs. 2500/ each to 50 girls’ students and is distributed in November during Sat Paul Mittal National Award function. Cheque will be issued in favor of the Institute.

Mittal Panday Scholarship [Meritorious]  

The students scoring first position in Ludhiana district in class 12th board examinations conducted by CBSE/ICSE/Punjab State Education Board in the disciplines of Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce & Humanities would be eligible for this Mittal Panday Scholarship. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Students standing first in 10+2 examinations conducted by the CBSE/ICSE/Punjab School Education Board in Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce, Social Science/ Humanities streams in Ludhiana District would be eligible.
• The scholarship is to be given only to those students who get admission to institutes providing Medical, Dental, Engineering, Science, Commerce, Humanities and Social Sciences undergraduate courses in the same year. If the student does not get admission/fails to get admission in the same year after passing the 10+2 examination, he/she will not be eligible for the scholarship.
• The scholarship would be provided for Under Graduate courses for the entire duration of the course to which the student gets admission.
• The students would have to score a minimum of 60% marks every year for continuation of the scholarship till graduation. In the event of failure to secure the required percentage, the scholarship will be withdrawn.
• The names of the students topping the 10+2 examinations in the Ludhiana District would be ascertained from different sources immediately after the declaration of respective results.
• If the student is in receipt of any similar type of financial support from some other Government or Non-Government agencies, he/she would not be eligible for the scholarship.
• The scholarships will be approved by the Scholarship Committee constituted by the Trust.
• On completion of the graduation course, the student would be eligible to receive Mittal Panday Scholarship (Post Graduate) if he/she wishes to continue with further studies. Eligibility criteria as laid down in Mittal Panday Scholarship (Post Graduate) will have to be met.

Reward Details

• MBBS Course: Students who get admission in the MBBS course in any medical college in India will be eligible to receive a scholarship of a maximum of Rs. 5,00,000 (Rs. Five Lac only) per year or actual expenditure, whichever is less, for the duration of the course.
• BDS Course: Students who get admission in the BDS course in any dental college in India will be eligible to receive a scholarship of Rs.2,00,000 (Rs. Two Lac only) per year or actual expenditure, whichever is less, for the duration of the course.
• Engineering or Equivalent Courses: Students who get admission in professional courses in any engineering college in India will be eligible to receive a scholarship of Rs.3,00,000 (Rs. Three Lac only) per year or actual expenditure, whichever is less, for the duration of the course.
• Undergraduate Courses: Students who get admission in any undergraduate degree course in any of the subjects that are part of Commerce, Humanities, Science or Social Science streams, in any college in India will be eligible to receive a scholarship of Rs.1,00,000 (Rs. One Lac only) per year or actual expenditure, whichever is less, for the duration of the course.
• The scholarship amount will be disbursed as follows: –
  • a. Students whose parents’ total income is up to Rs.5,00,000 (Rs. Five Lacs only) per annum, will be awarded 100% of the scholarship amount.
  • b. Students whose parents’ total income is more than Rs.5,00,000 (Rs. Five lacs only) but up to Rs.10,00,000 (Rs. Ten lacs only) per annum, will be awarded 60% of the scholarship amount.
• In case the income criteria are not met, the student will be given a merit certificate along with an award of Rs.10,000.

Nehru Scholarship [Armed Forces] 

Nehru’s scholarship will be provided to the people who are children of Indian army soldiers who have died in physical casualties. Students can apply for this prestigious scholarship program and then they will be provided various opportunities so that they can continue their education without any problems or difficulty. Scholarships of up to Rupees 14000 will be provided to the people who are eligible for this prestigious scheme presented by the concerned authorities.

Eligibility Criteria 

• The student should have passed all the subjects & promoted to the next class.
• There is no bar on the number of children per family.
• Copies of 100 application forms (as received by the Rehabilitation & Welfare Section (Corpus)) duly signed by the Principal of the school in which the children are studying will be forwarded to the Trust. These forms would be of children, preferably girls studying in classes I to V based on the results of the academic year 2018-19. Thereafter an effort will be made by Director (Corpus) to forward applications of the same children every year, till they finish schooling. 
• The Trust will scrutinize the applications and the amount for the approved applications + 5% as administrative expenses would be transferred by cheque in favor of the Army Central Welfare Fund (Corpuses).
• The unexpended amount from the 5% administrative compone5tnt will be utilized for the welfare of wards and widows of death in harness cases, in the next financial year.
• After the disbursal of the amount, the list of beneficiaries will be forwarded to Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust along with contact details including mobile number.
• Accounts of the Army Central Welfare Fund (Corpuses) are being audited on completion of each Financial Year, and the utilization certificate duly audited will be forwarded to the Trust for our records.

Reward Details 

• Class I to VIII : Rs. 10,000.
• Class IX to XII : Rs. 14,000.

Mittal Panday Scholarship [Trust]  

This scholarship policy is to support the education of the wards of support staff and admin staff of Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust. The wards of support staff will be paid Rs. 6,000/- per year and the wards of admin. staff will be paid Rs. 10,000/- per year towards school fees. For college education up to graduation, the wards of support, as well as admin staff, will be paid Rs. 25,000/- per year

Eligibility Criteria 

• The wards (maximum two per family) of Support Staff & Admin Staff of Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust, studying in schools & colleges would be eligible.

Reward Details 

• Wards of Support Staff of Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust will be paid Rs.6000/- per year for their schooling or actual whichever is low.
• Wards of Admin Staff of the Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust will be paid Rs.10,000/- per year for their schooling or actual whichever is low.
• For College education up to graduation, the wards of both Support as well as Admin. Staff will be paid Rs.25,000/- per year or the actual whichever is low.

Mittal Panday Scholarship [School]

Another scholarship scheme is created by the organization but this scholarship scheme is only available for the admin and the support staff of Sat Paul Mittal School. 6000 to 10000 rupees per year will be provided to the people according to the eligibility criteria presented by the organization and you must follow the eligibility criteria in order to successfully get the benefit of this prestigious scholarship scheme. 

Eligibility Criteria

• The children of support and admin staff of Sat Paul Mittal School.

Reward Details 

• The words of support staff will be paid Rs. 6,000/- per year
• The wards of admin. staff will be paid Rs. 10,000/- per year
• For college education up to graduation, the wards of support, as well as admin staff, will be paid Rs. 25,000/- per year

Meritorious Awards

The people who are performing really well in their academics will be eligible to get the meritorious awards presented by the authority. The awards will be provided as per the recommendation given by the principal of the school. The awards will be available at the annual function conducted by the authorities.  

Eligibility Criteria

• The meritorious students of Sat Paul Mittal School are given cash awards, as per the recommendations of the Principal

Reward Details

• Cash awards to the students who score 85% and above in the board examinations as per below mentioned criteria:
  • > 90% to 100% : Rs. 10,000/- per student
  • 85% to 90% : Rs. 5,000/- per student
  • 100% marks in a subject: Rs. 5,000/- per student

Terms And Conditions

There are some basic terms and conditions that you must follow in order to successfully apply for the different types of scholarships. Check out the details given below:

• The student will apply for the scholarship in her own handwriting giving all the necessary details about the family as per the specimen enclosed.
• After the scrutiny of the application forms, a convenient date is fixed for the Scholarship Committee constituted by the Trust to hold a meeting for the grant of scholarships to deserving students.
• The scholarship is given to old & new students who are found eligible by the Committee.
• Generally, each college is granted two scholarships for Degree Courses & two scholarships for Professional Courses, but it can increase or decrease depending on the merits of the case.
• The scholarship cheque is issued in favor of the College. The scholarship is given to the awardees once a year in the month of November at the time of Sat Paul Mittal National Award function.
