About SC ST OBC Scholarship 2025

The national scholarship portal is created in order to list SC ST OBC Scholarship for students belonging to certain castes and categories and the students can easily fill out the application form without having two worries about their physical presence in any type of Institute. If you are a permanent resident of India and you want to get financial help in order to continue your education in foreign countries then also you can easily fill out the application form available by the Ministry Of Social justice and empowerment. The ministry provides a list of scholarships especially available for students who belong to the economically backward section of society and are currently not able to find any type of financial help so that they can continue their education.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria in order to successfully apply for these types of scholarships:-

• OBC Scholarships

National Fellowship for OBC	The students who want to pursue M.Phil and PhD courses can apply for this fellowship
Central Sector Scheme of National Overseas	Students who want to pursue Ph.D. in foreign countries can apply for this scholarship.
Merit Scholarship for OBC Students in Professional and Technical Courses (Delhi)	The students from classes 6th to 12th can apply for this scholarship.
Dr B.R. Ambedkar State Award to SC/ST/OBC/Minorities Students, Delhi	–
ONGC Scholarship	500 scholarships are available for students who are in their first year of graduation.
Pre-matric Scholarship	The pre-matric student will get 500 rupees per month through this scholarship
Post-matric Scholarship	The post-matric students will get 750 per month for this scholarship. The students will get 4000 per month for this scholarship.

• SC Scholarship

Scholarship	Eligibility Criteria
Pre-matric scholarship for SC	The students in classes 9th and 10th can get the scholarship opportunity.
Post-matric scholarship for SC	The post-matric students can get benefit of this scholarship.
Top Class Education Scheme for SC Students	1500 scholarships are granted in this scheme for the students who have passed class 12th.
National Overseas Scholarship for SC	The students who want to study abroad are given the opportunity to apply for this scholarship.

• ST Scholarship

Post-matric scholarship	The students pursuing secondary-level education can apply for this scholarship.
Pre-matric scholarship	The students from class first to 10th can apply for this scholarship.
National Fellowship for ST	This Fellowship is available for students pursuing full-time MPhil or Ph.D. studies in various subjects.
National Overseas Fellowship for ST	Students who want to pursue higher studies abroad can apply for this prestigious scholarship.

SC ST OBC Scholarship 2025 Application Procedure

To apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-

• The candidates will first have to visit the SC ST OBC website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here

• The home page will open on your screen.
• Click on the option called New Registration

• The instructions will open on your screen.
• Tick mark the declaration.
• Click on the “Continue” option.
• Enter all of the details.
• Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details etc.
• Enter the captcha code 
• Click the “Register” option.
• Now you have to log in using your credentials.
• Click on the option called Application Form
• The application form will be displayed on the screen
• Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID etc.
• Click on “Save & Continue”
• Upload the documents.
• Click on “Final Submission’’
• The application form will be successfully submitted.
