Pragati Scholarship Scheme For Girl Students
The Pragati scholarship scheme launched by AICTE scholarship is for female students who are pursuing technical courses. This scholarship will provide financial assistance to female students so that they can continue their education. Female students who are currently studying in the first year or 2nd year of their technical degree are eligible to apply for the Pragati scholarship. The Pragati scholarship offers scholarships for both technical degrees and diplomas. If the family income of the applicant exceeds INR 8 Lakh per year she cannot be selected for the scholarship. Eligibility Criteria
- This scholarship is only available to female students who are pursuing technical courses.
- The applicant must be in the first or second year of her technical course.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 8 Lakh per year.
- A maximum of two girl child per family are eligible.
- The applicants must have a certified income certificate.
Saksham Scholarship Scheme For Specially Abled Students
The Saksham scholarship launched under the AICTE scholarship is for specially-abled students who are pursuing technical courses. All disabled students who are pursuing any technical course are eligible to apply for the Saksham scholarship. To apply for the scholarship the applicant must be at least 40% disabled. This scholarship will give specially able students a chance to pursue their careers without worrying about financial troubles. Students who are currently studying in their first or second year can apply for the scholarship. - This scholarship is only available to specially-abled students who are pursuing technical courses.
- The applicant must be in the first or second year of her technical course.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 8 Lakh per year.
- Specially-abled students have a disability of not less than 40%.
- The applicants must have a certified income certificate.
Swanath Scholarship Scheme
The Swanath Scholarship launched under the AICTE scholarship is for students who are orphans. All the students’ parents whose parents died due to COVID-19, and wards of the Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed) to pursue education are eligible for this scheme. This scholarship provides financial support to the students so that they can continue their technical courses. If the family income of the applicant exceeds INR 8 Lakh per year they cannot be selected for the scholarship. The Swanath scholarship is for both a degree and a diploma in technical courses. All the Students who clear the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form on the National Scholarship Portal.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be from any one of the categories Orphan, Either or both parents died due to COVID-19 and Wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed)
- The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 8 lakhs per year
- A valid income certificate issued by the State/UT Government is to be enclosed.
- The candidate should be currently studying in the AICTE-approved institutions and courses at the Degree/ Diploma level in regular mode (in 1st /2nd / 3rd /4th year).
- The candidate should NOT be a Recipient of any of the Central Govt. / State Govt. / AICTE sponsored scholarships.
