Jammu and Kashmir NMMS 2023-24 Apply Online and Eligibility Criteria

Jammu and Kashmir NMMS 2023-24 is now available by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education. Students can register themselves for the scholarship program by visiting the official website. The National Means cum Merit scholarship scheme is now live on the official website. Students who have qualified from 2019 to 2022 can apply for the scholarship by visiting the official NSP scholarship portal. The last date to apply for the scholarship is 30th November 2023 so you must apply for the scholarship before that. The authorities will be verifying the application for the scholarship by 15th December 2023. The financial assistance of Rs. 12000 will be provided to all the beneficiaries to be taken into account to pay the tuition fees of schools.

NMMS is one of the most popular scholarships available in India right now. Under the scholarship, people who are currently studying in class 8 are eligible to take a scholarship examination. Jammu and Kashmir NMMS provides 12000 Rupees to the beneficiaries that can be used for various purposes. Eligibility Criteria 

• Class 9 government school students who have cleared the NMMS exam and their parental income is less than Rs 3, 50, 0000 annually are eligible to apply for scholarship. 
• Notably, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and Kendriya Vidyalayas are not eligible for the scheme. 
• It is also notified for information of all the concerned candidates of NMMS exam year 2021, 2020, and 2019 who are studying in Class 10, 11, and 12 respectively during the session 2023-24 and are receipt of National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme can also submit online applications for the respective renewal installments on national scholarship portal by or before 30th of November 2023.

Required Documents

• Passport-size photograph of the applicant
• Marksheets of Classes 10 and 12
• College admission proof (Admission Letter/Institution ID Card, etc.)
• Proof of identity (Aadhaar Card/Driving License/PAN Card, etc.)
• Proof of address (Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Electricity Bill, etc.)
• Payments receipts of educational-related expenses such as tuition fees, hostel fees, books, mess fees, etc.
• Proof of family income such as ITR, salary slips, income certificate by a concerned government authority, etc.

Selection Process

• The applicant will be selected on the basis of the marks that they have achieved in the scholarship exams.
• The people for this Scholarship exam will be shortlisted on the basis of the eligibility criteria.
• The renewal of the scholarship will be subject to the number of marks that the students are achieving in the board exam. 
• The final decision to provide this scholarship will be in the hands of the board authorities.

• The candidates will first have to visit the J&K NMMS website by clicking on the link given here

• The home page will open on your screen.
• You have to click on the option called New Registration

• The instructions will open on your screen.
• Tick mark the declaration.
• You have to click on the option called the “Continue” option.
• Enter all of the details.
• Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details etc.
• Enter the captcha code 
• Click the “Register” option.
• Now you have to log in using your credentials.
• You have to click on the option called Application Form
• The application form will be displayed on the screen
• Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID etc.
• You have to click on the option called “Save & Continue”
• Upload the documents.
• You have to click on the option called “Final Submission’’
• The application form will be successfully submitted.
